WESTLAND S-51 DRAGONFLY & WIDGEON

$9.95

Titles: Westland S-51 No’s 1 and 2

The Westland S-51 was a licence built version of the Sikorsky S-51 helicopter but using the British Alvis Leonides engine. 133 examples were built for both civil and military users.

Westland produced an improved variant by increasing the size of the fuselage and using the rotor from the Whirlwind. Known as the Widgeon this variant was not commercially successful and only 12 were built or converted from existing S-51’s.

We offer two titles containing flight manuals (known as Pilot’s Notes or Crew’s Notes) for the Westland S-51 series. The first covers military variants of the Dragonfly, plus a manufacturer’s brochure. The second includes the civil flight manual for the Dragonfly along with the civil manual for the Widgeon plus a manufacturer’s brochure for the Widgeon. The files have been copied from the original flight manuals and retain any colour pages. Each title is US$9.95.
