REPUBLIC P-47 THUNDERBOLT

$9.95

Titles: Republic P-47 Thunderbolt No’s 1 to 4

Probably the most famous aircraft ever produced by the Republic Aviation Corporation the P-47 was a continuation of the family started by the P-35 and continued with the P-43. First flown in 1941 the P-47 was a large aircraft by the standards of the day and the equally large number of over 15,000 was eventually produced.

The P-47 was successfully used as both a high altitude fighter and a low-altitude ground-attack aircraft. It was one of the few WW2 piston-engined fighters to remain in service after WW2, and was only phased out of US Air National Guard service in 1954.

We offer four titles covering the P-47 Thunderbolt, containing flight manuals, a maintenance manual and a parts catalog for most variants of the P-47 series aircraft, along with two Aircraft Profiles. The files have been scanned from the original flight manuals and retain any colour pages unless otherwise stated. Each title is US$9.95.
