Title: Potez 840

The Potez 840 was four-engined passenger/executive aircraft using the Turbomeca Astazou turboprop engine which was the last aircraft to use the Potez name. First flown in April 1961 a small number were produced over the next few years but commercial success eluded it and the program was closed along with the company in 1967. Versions known as the 841 and 842 were proposed using different engines, the 841 using the PT6 engine in hopes of penetrating the US market.

With less than 10 examples produced it is unlikely a definitive flight manual was ever produced. At least one example entered service with German charter airline Aer Dienst for a short period so some sort of interim manual must have been produced, but unfortunately we don’t have this (if anyone else does, please contact us). This title contains five manufacturer’s brochures or specifications for the Potez 840 series. The files have been scanned from the original documents and retain any colour pages.
