Title: Miles M100 Student

The Miles M100 Student was a single-engined lightweight jet trainer produced as a private venture by F G Miles Ltd, and the sole example first flew in 1957. Unfortunately it lost out on the RAF flight training contract to the Percival Jet provost.

A number of developments of the Student were studied and proposed for various training programmes but without success. The sole prototype remained active until 1985 when it was badly damaged in a landing accident. It is now displayed at the Berkshire Museum of Aviation.

Due to the experimental nature of the aircraft it is unlikely a formal flight manual was produced. There would have been some temporary document giving limitations etc, but unfortunately after extensive enquiries we have been unable to locate a copy. This title contains a publicity brochure for the Student containing detailed technical specifications and performance predictions plus four original photographs of the prototype, along with two further brochures on proposed developments of the Student. The files have been scanned from the original documents and retain any colour pages.
