Title:  Dornier Do24

The Dornier Do.24 was built to a Dutch Navy specification and first flew in 1937. The Dutch required Wright Cyclone engines for commonality with their existing US aircraft. A production line was established at Aviolanda in The Netherlands and this produced around 190 aircraft during the WW2 years, with the first 15 or so using Wright engines and the remainder using BMW Bramo engines.

A second production line was established at the CAMS factory in France, and this produced 48 examples during the war and another 40 post-war for French Navy service. Examples used by the Spanish Air Force remained in service until at least 1967. A single example was converted to PT6 turboprop power during the 1980’s, along with a new wing as a technology demonstrator.

This title contains the Luftwaffe flight manual and a manufacturer’s detailed technical manual for various models of the Dornier Do24, along with a Luftwaffe maintenance manual on transport and recovery and a nice manufacturer’s publicity brochure. The files have been scanned from the original flight manuals and retain any colour pages unless otherwise stated.
