Title: Dassault Mirage F1 No’s 1 to 9

The Mirage F1 was the result of design studies completed by Dassault during the 1960’s. Initially funded as a private venture. The Armee de L’Air became interested as a successor to the Mirage III/5 series. First flown in 1967, the Mirage F.1 was the first non-delta-winged member of the Mirage family and entered service in 1974. The last examples were retired from the Armee de L’Air in 2014, after 40 years service.

Around 720 examples were manufactured over a 26 year production life, the Mirage F.1 was also very successful in the export market, seeing service with around a dozen other air arms, including Spain, Iraq, Greece, Equador, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, etc. The aircraft has participated in a number of armed conflicts, including the Western Sahara war, the Paquisha War, the Cenepa War, the Iran-Iraq War, the Gulf War, the South African border War, the Afghanistan War, the Chad-Libya War, etc.

A number of variants of the Mirage F1 were developed, optimised for both air-to-air interception and ground attack. Later multi-role variants were produced able to undertake both roles.

We offer nine titles covering the Mirage F1, six titles covering flight manuals and a maintenance manual for export variants of the aircraft, all in English, and three titles containing French translations of most of these manuals. The files have been scanned from the original flight manuals and retain any colour pages. Each title is US$9.95.

Contains Aircraft Description, Limitations, Normal and Emergency procedures and Flight Characteristics. 1F-F1K50AZ-1-1 originally produced by the manufacturer and dated Jan 1975, revised to June 1990 (with subsequent Atlas amendments), with approx 370 pages.   • Mirage F1CZ Aircraft Operating Manual – Volume One – Flight Manual. (The F1CZ is the air-to-air interceptor variant used by the South African Air Force (SAAF)). Contains Aircraft Description, Limitations, Normal and Emergency procedures, and Flight Characteristics. 1F-F1K50CZ-1-1 originally produced by the manufacturer and dated Jan 1975, revised to June 1990 (with subsequent Atlas amendments), with approx 365 pages.
