FAIREY BARRACUDA

$9.95

Title: Fairey Albacore & Barracuda

The Barracuda was designed to replace the Fairey Albacore and first flew in 1940. The initial Mk 1 version was underpowered and a more powerful Merlin powerplant was fitted for the definitive Mk II variant. Over 2600 examples were produced and the type soldiered on in Royal Navy service until replaced by the Grumman Avenger in the early 1950’s.

To maximise value this title includes the WW2 flight manuals (titled Pilot’s Notes) for both the Fairey Albacore and the Fairey Barracuda, along with the Aircraft Profile for the Barracuda. It has been scanned from the original flight manuals and retains any colour pages.
