HAWKER HUNTER

Titles: Hawker Hunter No’s 1 to 5

The Hawker Hunter first flew in 1951 and entered service in 1954. It was the first “modern” British jet fighter with a powerful engine and swept wings. It was a very elegant aircraft and was the main day fighter interceptor aircraft with the RAF for nearly a decade until the introduction of the Lightning. It then moved onto secondary roles such as ground attack, training and reconnaissance where it remained in service for another 30 years.

Nearly 2000 were built and they were exported widely, serving with around 21 air arms around the world. The last examples were retired from active service around 2014, 60 years after their first operational introduction.

We offer five titles for the Hawker Hunter which contain flight manuals for most RAF variants of the Hunter and two export variants, and maintenance manuals for two single-seat variants, along with two Aircraft Profiles. Each file has been scanned from the original manual and retains any colour pages. Each title is US$9.95.
