Title: North American A-5 Vigilante

Initially designated the A3J-1 the Vigilante was developed by North American as a high-performance all-weather attack aircraft for the US Navy. The aircraft first  entered service in 1961. The primary weapon was a nuclear bomb ejected rearwards from a bomb bay between the two rear tailpipes. The RA-5C was a long-range unarmed reconnaisance version developed incorporating many of the features of the abandoned A-5B long-range bomber variant. 55 new production RA-5C aircraft were manufactured, and 53 A-5A’s were converted to RA-5C configuration.

This title contains the US Navy NATOPS flight manuals for the two variants of the North American A-5 Vigilante aircraft which entered active service. The files have been scanned from the original flight manuals and retain any colour pages.
