This very elegant aircraft was one of two final competitors in the Advanced Tactical Fighter (ATF) contest to find a successor to the F-15. The YF-23 first flew in 1989, but after a hard-fought two year contest, in 1991 the Lockheed YF-22 was announced as the winner. Both examples of the YF-23 are preserved in US Museums.

To maximise value, this title contains the flight manuals for the YF-23 and the earlier YF-17. The YF-17 has been scanned from the original flight manual and retains any colour pages, and the YF-23 has been scanned from a good quality photocopy (probably all that was ever produced).
