Title:  Short Tucano

The Short Tucano is a licence built version of the Embraer EMB-312 Tucano, modified to meet RAF requirements as a replacement for the Jet Provost jet training aircraft. Changes included using the Garrett TPE-331 engine in place of the PT6, a strengthened airframe for improved fatigue life, and a cockpit modelled on the BAe Hawk.

The first production model flew in 1986 and the type entered service in 1989. 130 were delivered to the RAF and a small number were exported to Kenya and Kuwait. The RAF aircraft were due to be replaced in 2019.

This title includes the complete set of pilot manuals used by the RAF along with a manufacturer’s publicity brochure. The Flight Manuals have been scanned from the original manuals and retain any colour pages.
