BOEING 377 STRATOCRUISER

$9.95

Titles: Boeing 377 Stratocruiser No’s 1 and 2

The B377 Stratocruiser was a civil development of the C-97 transport, itself a development of the Boeing B-29 bomber. Using the entire wing and powerplants of the B-29 the initial variant first flew in 1944.

Only 55 examples of the B377 Stratocruiser were built between 1947 and 1950. The main operators were Pan American and BOAC who used the aircraft on the North Atlantic route. The B377 did not have the rear cargo hatch of the C-97 and for this reason the B377 was used as the basis for the 1970’s “Super Guppy” oversized cargo conversions.

We offer two titles for the Stratocruiser. This first title contains three flight manuals for airline variants of this magnificent aircraft, the second contains one more flight manual for BOAC and the maintenance manual as used by American Overseas Airlines, along with a nice manufacturer’s brochure. All files have been copied from the original flight manuals and retain any colour pages. Each title is US$9.95
